Freeze-dried injection / Appearance: Pale yellow to light brown block-shaped freeze-dried powder
Indications
1. Complicated skin and skin structure infections (CSSSI). 2. Bloodstream infections (bacteremia) caused by S. aureus, including right-sided infective endocarditis
Usage & Dosage
CSSSI adults: 4 mg/kg once every 24 hours. Bacteremia adults: 6 mg/kg once every 24 hours. Can be administered by 2-minute intravenous injection or 30-minute intravenous infusion
Contraindications
Patients with allergic reactions to daptomycin
Precautions
Myopathy/rhabdomyolysis: Reports indicate / Pediatric restrictions: Should be avoided in children under 1 year of age
Storage Conditions
After preparation (refrigerated/room temperature): Total storage time should not exceed 48 hours refrigerated or 12 hours at room temperature
